Barrister Shola Daodu (Janko) has hosted members of the BTO Political Family to a grand reception in Oka, Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, in celebration of the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s victories in the recently concluded party primaries.

The colourful event, held at Joreg Hotel, Iwaro Oka, on the eve of the Asin of Oka New Yam Festival, drew party leaders, supporters and political associates in what was widely described as a remarkable display of unity, loyalty and grassroots mobilisation.

The reception celebrated the political achievements of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), during the APC primaries and the emergence of the party's candidates across the state, including Senator Jide Ipinsagba for the Senate, Hon. Gboyega Adefarati for the House of Representatives and Hon. Raymond Oluwatoyin Daodu for the Ondo State House of Assembly.

Addressing party faithful, Daodu urged members of the APC to remain united, describing the BTO Political Family as one of the largest and most organised political structures in Ondo State.

According to him, the group's strength lies in its unity, discipline and unwavering commitment to the ideals of progressive governance.

He also said the overriding political objective of the Minister of Interior was to ensure the overwhelming victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in future elections across Ondo State.

Daodu stressed that Tunji-Ojo's focus was not driven by personal ambition but by a commitment to mobilising support for the party and securing a convincing electoral mandate for President Tinubu and all APC candidates.

In recognition of the minister's growing political influence, Daodu, a prince of the Asin of Oka Kingdom, unveiled a prominent banner describing Tunji-Ojo as the "Alaso Alari of Ondo Politics," a symbolic title reflecting what he described as the minister's far-reaching political network and ability to unite people across the state.

One of the highpoints of the event came when Daodu disclosed that he had produced branded caps bearing the inscription "BTO NBO." However, he remarked that the materials had become almost unnecessary because, according to him, "BTO has already arrived through the emergence of APC candidates across Ondo State."

The statement attracted loud applause from party supporters, many of whom interpreted it as an expression of confidence in the minister's expanding political influence within the state.

The reception also featured performances by Akure-based highlife musician, Solution, whose energetic display added colour and excitement to the celebration.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Vice Chairman of Akoko South-West Local Government commended Daodu for organising what he described as an unprecedented gathering, praising the quality of the reception, its organisation and the hospitality extended to guests.
